Recently, there have been many cases of motorists driving recklessly and causing accidents big and small.

Most of the time, the accidents seem to be caused by drivers going too fast or not checking their rearview and side mirrors before changing directions.

In a video posted on the Facebook page 我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians, a Perodua Myvi suddenly switched lanes to the one on its left.

Dashcam footage from the car behind the Myvi showed that it did not even signal and almost caused an accident on the Penang Bridge.

While netizens speculated that the driver’s actions could be due to their blind spot or needing to make the sudden change in lanes because the car further in front was slowing down, most netizens blamed the incident on the driver’s recklessness.

“(It) looked like the cars in front are slowing down. The driver suddenly (switched) lanes because they didn’t want to hit the car in front,” explained a netizen.

The woman’s scream

Nonetheless, what caught the attention of netizens was the woman’s scream when she almost collided with the Perodua Myvi.

Netizens found her scream funny and made remarks about it.

“Can put as (my) alarm, confirm no more lateness. Better than any alarm ringtone.”

“Her scream scared me more than (the) Myvi,” said another user.

Some users even made jokes about how it has replaced the car’s horn.
