The ‘selamba‘ or casual action of a white Perodua Axia driver in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah has left Malaysians dumbfounded recently as it was so random, that even road users were caught by surprise.
The incident was recorded on a dashcam and shared by Chang Tze Nan on Facebook, going viral with over 850,000 views and more than 2,000 shares as of the time of writing.

The video was recorded at a traffic light junction in Kota Kinabalu, whereby 2 lanes were designated for road users to turn left, while another 2 to go straight.
In the video recorded on 29 May at 3.07pm, the dashcam owner was behind a Perodua Alza waiting for the light to turn green so they could turn left when out of the blue, a random Perodua Axia emerged seemingly out of nowhere.
Furthermore, the white Perodua Axia was casually driving against traffic, sneaking in at the empty lane to the left of the dashcam owner and zipping past them.
Shocked by what had transpired, the dashcam owner can be heard expressing, “What the f***” right before the video ends.

Malaysians were perplexed at what had transpired
In the comments section, many Malaysians were dumbfounded by the Perodua Axia driver’s actions and were amused by how casual they were at doing such an irresponsible and dangerous act.
One commenter joked that the driver was from the Twilight Zone, hence why they were driving against traffic.
Meanwhile, another commenter sarcastically asked whether the driver was drunk to be doing such a dangerous act.
