In the post, she shared how a couple driving a white Perodua Ativa in front of her allegedly caused a long queue at the petrol station because the couple parked their vehicle at the fuel pump bay for a long time as the wife went shopping in the convenience store of the station.

Shima added that the selfish vehicle owners were the cause of others being late.

She asserted,

“The husband told the wife to pay at the counter. She then went shopping inside the convenience store and didn’t pay for the petrol.

“The husband then had to go inside the store to pay. After refuelling, the husband waited inside the car at the pump bay because the wife hadn’t gone out of the store. Stupid species.”

Malaysians resonated with the post and shared their own experience with such selfish drivers

In the comments section of the post, Malaysians unite to call out the driver and other vehicle owners who do the same as such actions are really selfish and cause inconveniences for others.

One commenter stressed that the fuel pump bay is for refuelling, not for parking. Hence, if you’ve done refuelling, you should immediately move the vehicle and park somewhere else if you’re planning to shop at the convenience store.

One Malaysian who used to work at a petrol station said that these incidents happen more frequently than one would think, as he has observed vehicle owners who park at the fuel pump bay and then go to the ATM machine to withdraw money, shop for snacks and even order food that took quite some time to be ready such as waffles.
