Prioritising one’s health is immensely important! Nothing can ever be taken for granted or undermined. And while most humans may have a hard time obeying their doctors’ orders, one obedient doggo seems to be leading the way for how all of us should be at the doctor’s office.

A recent TikTok video has been making waves online after the official TikTok page of EV Animal Medical Centre in Alor Setar, Kedah, @evanimalmedicalcentre, shared the cutest video of a veterinarian explaining the kinds of medication a precious pup needed to take. And what was the best part of the whole thing? The doctor was explaining those instructions to the dog itself!

In the video, the dog, who jumped against the front counter of the animal centre, can be seen looking at the nurse as its owner stands nearby. Playfully talking to the pup, the vet showed it all the medication it needed to take, holding each box and sealed bag to its face.

“Okay, you need to take this one three times a day – in the morning, evening, and at night,” said the vet to the dog as it stared and sniffed the item.

Playful yet friendly, the dog’s owner noted everything it needed to take, as the animal caught everyone’s attention for its cute response to both the vet and its owner.

Receiving an overwhelmingly positive reaction on the platform, many Malaysians were in awe over the dog’s saucy behaviour. Other’s couldn’t help but makes jokes at the duo’s expense, with many asking the animal clinic how many days of medical leave did they provide the pup with.

“I think the dog doesn’t believe that its owner will remember, so it had to jump up and pay attention to what it needed to take and when,” jested another user.

One user even jokingly added a plot twist to the video, saying that the dog was actually buying medication for its owner instead of the other way around.

Among the many comments came one from a user who also praised the clinic, recognising the humour, but also the warmness exhibited towards their pet patient.

“I love watching videos of people showing love to animals. Thank you for this!” commented the user.
