If you are a Grabfod rider, it is almost certain that you will stumble upon famous celebrities that you would not usually meet anywhere else.

One Grabfood rider had such an experience when he had the chance to deliver food to Olympic swimmer Daniel Bego.

Speaking to mStar, Syazri Imran, a 2-month novice on the job spoke of his experience bumping into the former Malaysian champion.

“Last Wednesday, I received an order to deliver food. After seeing the name, I wondered to myself that it sounded familiar.”

“I immediately responded, asking for confirmation of his name and address. I became excited when I found out that I was delivering to the real Daniel Bego.”

He is indeed lucky to get the chance of a lifetime to meet his favourite athlete.

“To some, it may not be much, but to me, meeting athletes that have made the nation proud is an experience I will never forget. I hope that the next time I get to deliver food, it will be for Dato Lee Chong Wei.”

We sincerely hope that his wish to deliver food to Datuk Lee Chong Wei is fulfilled. Do share with us the pictures and experience, ok?
