Social media has been a good reminder that there are plenty of nice things around the world. Many would make it a life-long goal to explore the wonders the world can offer.

Just recently, a Malaysian man named Raziman has shared his story on a Facebook group. In his post, he said,

“As a person in the B40 tier, I would like to experience how it feels like to live in the T20 tier. I want to sleep and wake up to the Petronas Twin Tower view.”

He then attached a picture of his booking details and the date he booked is about a year from now, on August 30 to August 31. He expressed that the reason he booked almost a year in advance is because he wants to give himself time to save up.

Following the post, Raziman spoke to WORLD OF BUZZ and mentioned that he is currently 25 years old, working as an account executive.

When asked about how he is feeling, given that netizens were widely supportive of his decision, he said:

“The hotel I booked is called Traders Hotel, KL. When I booked the room, I was really happy because this is my first time staying in a 5-star-hotel that overlooks the Twin Towers. I wanted to share my happiness with everyone!

When I posted it, I genuinely thought I was going to get criticised for ‘wasting money’ on things like that. Turns out, many of them who commented on my post were incredibly supportive and some even shared their experience with me.”

Widely supportive netizens

“I never thought of this idea. This is smart, you can book earlier and save some. Thanks for the idea. We’re not rich enough to just pay it off one shot for a premium hotel. But I guess once in a blue moon is okay.”

“It’s good to reward yourself. I hope you stay motivated and help yourself out of the B40 tier. Hardwork is the stairway to success.”

“Good initiative. May God continue to bless you and help you achieve your dreams.”

“This is great! This is the kind of example we should follow. We save up bit by bit and then spend it on a nice hotel with our loved ones. We just want the ambience. You don’t have to condemn other people for their choices.”

Keep up the good work, Raziman we hope you enjoy your staycation!
