Recently, a few videos depicting the alleged luxurious lifestyle of so-called “financial gurus” in Malaysia become viral on social media.
These include having tonnes of cash on hand, driving expensive cars and even flying on private jets, all while inviting viewers to join them to know how to be as successful as there are.
However, not everything is as it seems, as diligent viewers began to notice something amiss with these videos.
One of which is TikTok user @user_error2021 who compiled the videos to show that this “trader gang” has been using the same private jet in their individual videos.
The video has since gone viral with over 910,000 views and more than 26,700 likes as of the time of writing.

Furthermore, the expose continued in part 2 and went viral too with over 1.2 million views and 14,500 likes, this time showing the same aircraft being used by a cosmetic product company founder.

It is alleged that these individuals have been renting the same setup to show off a luxurious lifestyle for marketing purposes, specifically to attract people to join their financial classes and buy their products
Most recently, TikTok user @MrTurboProp, who is also a pilot delved deeper into the videos to find out more information regarding the private jet used.
Based on his video, it was revealed that the private jet is a Bombardier Challenger 601-3R with the registration number N888FJ.
A quick search on Flightradar24 showed that the aircraft hasn’t flown in months and had only been moving around a hanger since 21 February 2023.

Well, this just goes to show that you should take everything you see online with a grain of salt, especially from individuals that may have ulterior motives, such as promoting their classes.
