Football is a sport that most Malaysians can relate to. Not only does the sport bring people together, but it also entertaining to watch!
@mekalfootball reached out to WORLD OF BUZZ to share their recent amusing match that was held in Subang Jaya on May 4th.
Kita VS Kita
Mekal Football Club proudly identifies as a social football team with over 100 players, headquartered in the Klang Valley and established in 2021.
Their recent milestone was celebrated last Saturday (May 4th, 2024), marking their 55th match. They primarily engage in friendly matches across Malaysia.
“Our flagship event is ‘Kita vs Kita,’ where friends face off against each other purely for enjoyment and the creation of lasting memories through fun and laughter.”
They all wore baju melayu in celebration of Hari Raya!
In the recent match, they set up a friendly game where everyone rocked baju melayu, marking the 14th occurrence of their “Kita vs Kita” match.
They figured it’d be cool to spice things up with costumes for Hari Raya. They embraced the concept so enthusiastically that even the referee handed out angpow instead of the usual yellow card for foul play.
