Breaking your fast is perhaps the most exciting thing to do after a whole day of fasting. And finding the perfect food and drinks only adds to the satisfaction.
In a recent viral video, user @azie_anjeeee took to her TikTok to recount an incident that happened while she was preparing to break her fast.
Keladi drink for only RM5, comes with a FREE lizard
In the video, she can be seen pouring the keladi drink she had purchased from an eatery in Klang, only to discover a lifeless lizard inside. Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Azie revealed that she had bought the drink for RM5 per bag.
She recounted how she was getting ready to break her fast, pouring the drink from the bag into a jug. As she reached the end of pouring, a lifeless lizard came sliding down in the plastic bag.
“The worst part wasn’t just the lizard, it was that we discovered it only 3 minutes before breaking our fast.”
Be cautious when purchasing outside food and drinks!
Azie made it clear how fortunate she was to notice the lizard before consuming the drink with her family. She went on to advise everyone to be cautious when purchasing food or drinks outside and suggested making beverages at home whenever possible.
“To restaurant owners, please keep your place clean. Try not to leave food or drinks out for too long because you never know what could end up in them.”
