There’s just something traumatising about finding something horrible in the food or drinks that you eat, right? This person allegedly discovered a nicely-formed lizard right in their drink and it looks like the creature was actually in their mouth! The horror!

According to a viral Facebook post, Hasler Hoho posted a photo showing the lizard, which was taken out from the cup of a popular bubble tea chain and it doesn’t look appetising at all.

Hasler said, “I had ordered a large classic roasted milk tea drink at one of the outlets in Bukit Jalil and requested pearls to go with the drink. I was sipping halfway through my drink when I felt something weird in my mouth. It felt like a long piece of jelly and since I ordered pearls, it should actually feel like a round ball.”

Feeling suspicious, the netizen took out the piece of “jelly” and to her disgust, it was actually a fully-formed lizard! OMG, so gross! Shocked and revolted, Hasler quickly spat out all the pearls that were in her mouth.

Hasler said, “I took another careful look at the disgusting lizard and to my dismay, I realised that the lizard is actually missing its tail. I have already lodged a complaint with the bubble tea chain and their headquarters are aware of this.”

The netizen ended the post warning others to be careful of what they consume and to check properly before drinking otherwise they would be traumatised too if they discovered similar creatures in their drinks.

The post garnered a lot of attention from netizens with over 2,000 shares as they were just as grossed out by the lizard. Imagine having that lizard in your mouth! A few of them said that they were really repulsed by the lizard and were put off from ordering any other drinks with pearls in the future.

Well, that is certainly a nightmare to find in anything you consume! Hopefully there will not be any similar incidents in the future!
