If you’ve ever been in a relationship before, then you’d be able to imagine how hard it is to bid goodbye to your other half – be it after a date night, when you or your partner is travelling, or when the significant other has to relocate to another state/country for reasons.
Recently, this Malaysian guy, Anthony made a super sweet and touching video where he surprised his girlfriend, Debbie who was going off to Taiwan for her studies and it went viral with over 18,000 shares and over a million views within 24 hours.

He documented the process of sneaking onto the SAME flight and only revealing himself once the flight landed at the Taiwan airport.
In his post dedicated to his girlfriend, he wrote, “Although this may be a rather short surprise but the most important thing is I was able to make you smile. Being able to put that smile on your face is the most satisfying feeling in the world.”

“I hope that you will always be as happy as you were today even when I’m not with you. Take care of yourself in Taiwan and do not be afraid of having a long distance relationship. You’ll be finishing your studies after two years and after that we can be together, always. Thank you for letting me love you and also your family for treating me so good. I love you.”
In the four-minute and 30-second video, Anthony sends his girlfriend off in KLIA2 where she leaves with tears on her face. However, in the next shot, it shows Anthony wearing a mask and cap as disguise so he could sneak into the same flight as his girlfriend without getting noticed. Wait, what?

Apparently, a few days before her flight, he bought a last minute ticket which cost more than RM800. He tells the camera, “I just spent more than RM800 to make her happy. I think it’s totally worth it!” Aww, so sweet!
Anthony tries to keep a safe distance from his girlfriend in order not to ruin the surprise and finally, he makes it on the plane and lands safely in Taiwan. At the airport, he quickly locates his unsuspecting girlfriend who is with her family and continues recording his video.

While waiting for her to realise his presence, he attempts to photobomb their photos. It was at the moment that Debbie finally felt something was amiss and recognised him. We’re not kidding when we say that that was the most touching moment as she laughed and cried while hugging him tightly. I mean, any guy or girl would be touched at this gesture I’m sure!
Sadly, he could only be there for two days as he had to work but he concluded his video saying, “Even though I could only accompany you for a short while, everything is worth it just to see you smile so happily.”
