We have a fun fact for all you Malaysians repaying your student loans!
Our National Higher Education Fund (PTPTN) has it’s very own mascot!
These nameless mascots come in two colours; blue and yellow. They’re often present in public PTPTN-related events and are typically involved in handing out goodie bags and posing for pictures with random, amused passers-by.
These mascots are pretty cute in their own special way, though. We have no idea what on Earth is going on in the picture below, but it looks like they’re having a good time!
Well, they’re….uniquely cute, lah!
But why do PTPTN even need mascots in the first place, we hear you ask! Well, we’re not entirely sure either but we reckon they’re here to probably help make repaying our student loans a little more fun.
Although we’re not entirely sure of their exact purpose, we have to admit they do put a smile on your face (right before remembering you owe them money for the next decade…now, excuse us while we cry…).
Plus, it’s pretty hilarious, looking at the mixed reactions these mascots get from Malaysians, regardless of their age!
Who knows what thoughts are running through these little girls’ minds.
Hmm, this mascot looks a little familiar, though! We can’t put our finger on it…
Wait a second!
Mind = BLOWN!
What do you guys think about them? Cute enough for you? Or are they what nightmares are made of?
