To laugh or to cry? ?

Unlike the old times, kids nowadays are good with mobile gadgets like smartphones or tablets, but perhaps sometimes, like in this case, still not good enough. In China, a 3-year-old kid accidentally ordered 100 bowls of zhajiangmian (soybean paste noodles) using her father’s handphone.

Happened on 15 June 2021 in Jilin city, China, the kid felt hungry and tried ordering noodles with her father’s mobile phone, but accidentally pressed two extra “zeros” when keying the order.

When the orders arrived, it was reported by NetEase News that the delivery person had to go seven to eight trips to send the 100 bowls of noodles, as the family lives on the 13th floor. He initially thought he had won some prizes with noodles as the rewards, however, after checking his phone, he realised he had spent 1350RMB (approximately RM868) on the noodles.

This funny accident was recorded and uploaded online. According to Sohu, the family kept eight bowls of noodles, and gave away the rest to the sanitation workers and those in need.

The parents did not waste the extra food and helped those in need instead of balming the little girl, which is something for other parents to learn from. Nevertheless, parents should also always be careful with the children’s use of mobile gadgets and educate them properly to avoid unwanted troubles like loss of money or falling into online scams.
