JUST IN: Malaysia Records Highest Daily Cases With 7,289 New Covid-19 Infections

Malaysia has recorded a whopping 7,289 new Covid-19 cases as of 25 May 2021. This makes it the highest increase ever in the history of Covid-19 cases in the country to date!

 

A majority of the new cases come from Selangor with 2642 new cases and Johor with 664 new cases.

The breakdown of the remaining cases are as follows:

  • Selangor: 2,642 cases
  • Sabah: 266 cases
  • Johor: 664 cases
  • WPKL: 604 cases
  • Sarawak: 513 cases
  • Penang: 380 cases
  • Negeri Sembilan: 410 cases
  • Kelantan: 425 cases
  • Perak: 218 cases
  • Kedah: 336 cases
  • Melaka: 258 cases
  • Pahang: 211 cases
  • Terengganu: 268 cases
  • WP Labuan: 63 cases
  • Putrajaya WP: 23 cases
  • Perlis: 8 cases
