Malaysia has recorded a whopping 7,289 new Covid-19 cases as of 25 May 2021. This makes it the highest increase ever in the history of Covid-19 cases in the country to date!

A majority of the new cases come from Selangor with 2642 new cases and Johor with 664 new cases.
The breakdown of the remaining cases are as follows:
- Selangor: 2,642 cases
- Sabah: 266 cases
- Johor: 664 cases
- WPKL: 604 cases
- Sarawak: 513 cases
- Penang: 380 cases
- Negeri Sembilan: 410 cases
- Kelantan: 425 cases
- Perak: 218 cases
- Kedah: 336 cases
- Melaka: 258 cases
- Pahang: 211 cases
- Terengganu: 268 cases
- WP Labuan: 63 cases
- Putrajaya WP: 23 cases
- Perlis: 8 cases
