Due to not having enough space to park his cars while also setting up a tent for a family kenduri (banquet), a resident of Kampung Matang Bonglai Kechil, Ayer Hitam, Johor, decided to park his Perodua Kancil and Proton Saga on the roof of his house!

According to a report by Buletin TV3, 64-year-old Awang Ali Abdullah shared that he used a crane to place his cars on the roof of his house, which is made from concrete, with the help of a family member.

“I didn’t expect this to spread on social media because my intentions were just to temporarily ‘park’ the 2 cars on the roof of my house to set up a party tent yesterday (November 2),”

“Within only 30 minutes, the 2 cars were successfully lifted onto the concrete roof, and I didn’t expect anyone to record a video and spread it until so many people came to take pictures. Some came from far away, including Penang, just to take pictures of my Perodua Kancil and Proton Saga cars on the roof of my house,” he said.

The guests at his family banquet, a whopping 1,500 people, also took the opportunity to take photos of his 2 cars on the roof of his house.

Considering the attention, Awang Ali has decided to leave the 2 cars on his roof for a couple of weeks to give people time to take pictures.

“The 2 cars are still usable, and I’ve been using both for over 10 years, and everything is still in good condition. I was also surprised when my children showed a video (of this incident) that had gone viral on TikTok, and I didn’t expect that video to get so many views,” he added.
