Michelle Yeoh’s recent victory in the Oscars has made many fans around the world proud as they congratulate the Ipoh-born actress. As for business operators, how do you boost your sales by relating to her major success?

Calling all Michelles out there, Gong Cha Malaysia has a surprise in store for you!

In a 1-day only promotion, Gong Cha is offering you a FREE upsize on any drinks if and only if your name is Michelle. The promotion will happen tomorrow (Thursday, March 16), and the promotion is available all day without a specific time frame. Of course, you can’t just head to the counter and tell the baristas that you’re Michelle. There are a couple of terms of conditions that you’re expected to follow.

For verification purposes, simply produce ANY form of identification to confirm your name. In its Facebook post last night (March 14), Gong Cha did not specify the kind of IDs that you have to produce for confirmation. So, if your office or student ID has “Michelle” on it, you’re up for an upsize on your drink!
