Black magic is unfortunately still being practised in this modernised era, and only God knows how much damage it has caused someone’s life.

Back in Ramadhan this year, even the popular Nasi Arab business by Chef Ammar could not escape being a victim of black magic when the spell forced him to close an outlet of his restaurant. It proves that the combination of envy and black magic is deadly enough to put something or someone to an end.

But is black magic the answer to the cause of all distresses and inconveniences in life?

It could be but before that…

Local food reviewer and host, Ceddy expressed his thoughts about black magic and the end of food businesses via his tweet recently, and while he did not deny the existence of the practice of such an unorthodox method, there are perhaps a few things that business operators can take into consideration.

“Check on your products. How about your customer service, price, location, promotion?”

When it comes to marketing, Ceddy said that failure is often caused by poor choices of location, regardless of how good the food can be.

“Good food, but hidden areas or hassle in finding parking.”

“At the end of the day, we’re all humans with different intentions. But, don’t blame everything on black magic,” Ceddy added.

As someone who has experience in the marketing industry, Ceddy shared some tips on how to make sure your money flows in the right direction, instead of going straight to “eliminate” the spell, which can be costly.

“You should spend on advertisement, marketing, promotions. They’re more effective.”

Of course, we do not deny the fact that supernatural elements might be in play at times, but do you agree with Ceddy’s take on this matter? Fellow business operators, what measurements did you take to secure the success of your business?
