Now, many people know just how painful and uncomfortable it is to be circumcised, and in many cultures and religions, it is a must.

This appears to have scared a young boy so much that had run away from home and returned years later as a man.

A 38-year-old man in Klaten, Indonesia, has finally returned home after going MIA for 25 years. He had initially ran away from home when he was 13-years-old, as he was afraid of being circumcised.

The Undercover.id Instagram page showcased a video of his return, where he was greeted by his family and residents of the area. His mother had broken into tears and fainted after seeing her long lost son, before hugging him.

“Through assessments and checking with the family, the person in question had left when he was in 1st grade. It is said that it was because of the fear of circumcision,” shared Joko Prayitno, an officer from the Klaten subdistrict Social Welfare Coordination Team.

We’re so happy that the poor mother finally has her son back, considering how she reacted to his return, she must have really missed him.
