As of today (28 September 2020), there are 115 new positive Covid-19 cases in Malaysia as reported by Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. The total number of confirmed cases has increased to 11,034 cases.
Out of the 115 cases, 112 are local transmissions and there are three imported cases. There is a total of 1,011 active cases.
Sabah remains the state with the highest number of Covid-19 cases (98 cases), followed by 11 cases in Selangor, the second-highest. According to the Ministry of Health, 11 of the local cases have a history of travelling to Sabah.
There is no addition of death cases today, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 in Malaysia remains at 134.
