Hannah Yeoh recently called out a massage brand for sponsoring the Malaysian political podcast “Keluar Sekejap,” hosted by politicians Khairy Jamaluddin and Shahril Hamdan, which implied the Minister should actively interfere with the Olympic Council of Malaysia.
Minister of Youth and Sports, Hannah Yeoh, took to her Instagram story to voice her opinions on the matter, describing it as “distasteful.”
“I find it distasteful”
Hannah Yeoh shared her thoughts, expressing that she found it distasteful for the company to sponsor a podcast that implied the Minister should actively interfere with the Olympic Council of Malaysia.
She also criticised the use of photos that included Tan Sri Norza and Tunku Imran, with Tunku being labelled as a “big beast.”
Additionally, she disagreed with the use of the Olympic rings to promote a message that she believes is completely out of line with the Olympic charter.
“No pun intended”
Hannah then noted that their massage chair has, rather ironically, become the perfect platform for armchair critics.
“Your massage chair is now seen as the ideal spot for armchair critics (no pun intended).”
She concluded her message by expressing that, despite the situation, she looks forward to hearing from them soon to discuss how they plan to address these concerns.
