Some Malaysians love to go out and eat to taste the various kinds of food out there. However, it gets really annoying when the food takes very long to get to your table, especially when you’re starving already.

Recently, a group of people in China got so impatient at a restaurant that one of them eventually went into the kitchen to cook for all of them.

According to a video on Weibo, this particular incident happened on 18 December in Shiyan, Hubei, China. A man called Chen and his friends were travelling on the highway when they saw a small restaurant at a rest stop, so they went in to have a meal.

The lady boss told them that the chef was infected with Covid-19, so she will be the one who will be cooking for them. 30 minutes after they placed their order, the dishes did not arrive and they were growing impatient.

Fortunately, one of them was a chef and they went into the kitchen and started cooking.

At first, the boss was in disbelief and thought that they were joking with her when they said that their chef friend earns 20,000-30,000 RMB (approximately RM12,700-RM19,000) a month. She also felt that the man used too much oil and too much chilli.

When he finished cooking, she was amazed by his dishes!

Although they kind of DIYed their dinner, the group still paid the boss for the food.

This is certainly a boss move that made us laugh!
