Every once in a while, netizens will post some ‘ground-breaking’ discovery on social media, which ends up making us question the world we live in, and this is one of those instances.
Traditionally, most of us would stay away from pineapples when buying fruits because the process of cutting the thorny fruit open is somewhat ‘intensive labour’, which is why when this guy named Lewis Mc Cluskey shared how easily he retrieved a piece of pineapple from the fruit, we were stunned.
Here’s how he did it:
This short video boggled netizens’ minds from various countries as it was viewed over 12 million times and retweeted 43.9k times. Many couldn’t believe what they saw as they’ve been watching their parents spend at least 10 minutes just to remove the skin and eyes of the pineapples since they were young.
“I’ve learned more from Twitter than from our education system,” a netizen said.
“This changes everything. I can never see a pineapple the same way again,” another netizen commented.
However, some netizens pointed out that the pineapple has to be extremely ripe and that the pineapple’s skin may need some light cutting.
Do you think this is a more efficient way to eat a pineapple? Let us know what you think in the comments!
