What’s a good anniversary gift? Flowers? Chocolates? Jewelry? How about cash? Well, if you’re thinking of cash, then you may want to hide this story from your significant other, lest they set their expectations a little too high. Just recently, a Singaporean company that specialises in what they term as ‘money bouquets’ shared one of their most lavish orders from a customer yet.
Before we get into what the order is, ‘money bouquets’ for those of you who are out of the loop, are beautifully folded bank notes made into the shape of a floral arrangement meant to be gifted to your significant other. Duh.
Anyway, back to the very expensive money bouquet. The bouquet order was made by a customer who was intending to gift it to his wife for their wedding anniversary, but what made this bouquet all the more extravagant is the amount of money that was literally folded into it.
SGD $1,000 (RM3,073) in cash.
From observation, the bouquet comprised of five pieces of SGD $10 notes, nine pieces of SGD $50 notes, and five pieces of SGD $100 notes for a total of SGD $1,000.
And judging by the comments, it would seem that many people have already rallied behind this idea of ‘money bouquets’. Well, we can’t say we blame them. We want one ourselves.
So maybe next time, it might just be better to send cash than flowers. Hmmm.
