“Everyone can work!” M’sians Amazed With Elderly Woman Who Works for Foodpanda
Recently, in a viral photo shared by a netizen showed an elderly woman who was seen sitting alone at a restaurant in Bandar Sunway, and from the looks of it, she seemed to be working for FoodPanda due to the uniform she was wearing.
The photo was taken by Tiffany Chang who saw the woman waiting at Rock Cafe for a delivery order to be ready. The woman had a FoodPanda bag on her lap while she sat there hunched over her phone.
According to Sin Chew Daily, the elderly woman with grey hair and glasses was seen observing standard operating procedures and taking preventive measures, like wearing a mask and gloves, and even covering her phone with plastic to maintain good hygiene.
The post was uploaded on 27 November, but soon went viral with over 4,200 shares and over 3,200 likes.
Netizens expressed their amazement at the woman, who still strived to work in her old age.
