Now that the Covid-19 numbers are once again on the rise, our authorities have taken strict and necessary action in order to flatten the curve.

Yet, there are still individuals who are breaking the rules and disregarding the safety of others.

Recently, the Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS Facebook page took to their profile to showcase how an elderly uncle hid his quarantine band with a towel so that he could enter the Kampung Pandan Muhibbah Complex.

Band 1

They wrote, “Happened at about 3.00pm yesterday (12 January) at the Kampung Pandan Muhibbah Complex. An elderly Chinese man was stopped by a security guard who was suspicious of the white towel wrapped around the man’s arm. After inspection, he found that the elderly man was wearing a quarantine bracelet.”

Knowing that it was wrong for him to be out and about, the man tried to hide the bracelet by wrapping a towel around his wrist, deliberately endangering the people around him.

“Business owners and those who visited the complex yesterday afternoon who have symptoms such as fevers, colds, and sore throats are asked to head to a hospital immediately,” they added.

To those who are undergoing quarantine, please do follow protocol and stay indoors until your quarantine period is over.
