Last week, Malaysian actor Remy Ishak got lambasted for not covering his aurat and this week it is Malaysian influencer and rapper, Caprice.

Caprice, who is also known as Daddycap, recently received mixed reactions on his Instagram video posted 3 days ago when his thigh made a special appearance in one scene.

Vape

In the video, him and his wife, Farra Inalis were promoting vape flavours using the TikTok trend, ‘Marry Me’, which featured scenes of him doing ordinary day-to-day tasks as his wife did a dance routine near him.

Sharp-eyed netizens were quick to jump into the comments section of the video to point out and criticise on what they deemed to be inappropriate behaviour by the rapper.

Thigh

It was a scene showing Caprice holding a book while relieving himself on the toilet. His pants were halfway down his legs, thus exposing his thigh.

Told to cover his aurat

While most of the comments were not necessarily mean or demeaning, the message netizens were sending was clear- the ‘XDE HAL’ singer should have covered his thigh to preserve his aurat.

“Cap, your aurat, later you’ll get criticised.”

Whereas some chose to express their disapproval in a more lighthearted tone.

Others showed their distaste for the scene and the rapper’s action in general by saying things such as “We would’ve been fine even without the toilet seat one.”, “Men’s aurat is up to the knee, not just covering the knee alone.” and “Men also have limitations regarding aurat.”

On the other hand, his fans seem unbothered as they left adoring comments on the video.

Fans Cute

One would think Caprice would be more careful after what happened with Remy Ishak and his Dior campaign shoot. But, should everyone not be free to do whatever they please, as long as it does not hurt anyone?
