Celebrities and influencers often have to be super careful over what they share about on social media as adoring fans are often on the look out for a slip up.

Recently, renowned local actor Remy Ishak unintentionally sparked mixed reactions among fans after he shared a series of photographs taken of him wearing Dior’s Men Fall 2021 Collection.

In one of the photographs, the actor is seen wearing shorts which meant that part of his thighs were exposed.

Fans were unhappy

The majority of the backlash came from fans who criticised the actor for exposing his ‘aurat’ which is any exposed region from the belly button down to the knees for men.

Plenty of netizens took their dissatisfaction of the photographs to the comments section.

“Why would you expose your aurat?”

One user criticised him for it and said that they will be unfollowing him on Instagram.
