If you’re looking for a puppy to adopt, do not hesitate to head to Citta Mall’s main entrance for an adoption drive TODAY (26 May). Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better (MDDB) is holding the adoption drive from 11am to 6pm.

An elderly couple rescued one of the puppies up for adoption while they were driving on the street a few days ago. They spotted the poor puppy being thrown out of a car! The poor puppy could have died on the spot if they hadn’t rescued it by removing it from the dangerous street.

According to The Star, it’s a female puppy, and she was only about three months old! Poor thing!

MDDB adoption coordinator, Christine Lai, mentioned that it was genuinely heartless of the people who dumped the puppy onto the street. She added,

“The culprit should not have taken the poor puppy in if they were not prepared to take care of it.”

The other puppies that will be up for adoption were rescued from Rawang and Jalan Ipoh.

If you don’t want to adopt but are willing to contribute to help the puppies, you can drop by at the adoption drive to donate as well. The donations are to help pay the doggos’ RM60,000 hospital bill at Gasing Veterinarian Hospital.

Don’t worry if you can’t make it today. You can drop by MDDB’s shelter, too! Or you could also Whatsapp them at 016-6674193 for any enquiries on donations and adoptions.
