From his profile, Nick Vedovi, a 24-year-old graduate from University of California, seems like a nice and normal human being; with decent looks equate to boot. I mean, he even mentions he “comes with dogs”, killer line right there. But oh no, we’re so wrong.
Things took an ugly turn when Vedovi had a Tinder meltdown after starting a conversation with a girl he matched with.

He seems normal the first few messages even initiating that they should grab a drink that night. However, things plummeted when she was late in replying his messages… Clue: He turns saltier than the ocean.

When the girl didn’t reply fast enough for his liking, Vedovi started throwing insults at the girl. Both racist and misogynistic.
“Ugh you chinks are all the sameee such a waste of time, next time don’t give out your number you dumb cunt.”
He even had the audacity to push the boundaries even more and taunts her by criticising her looks.
“Ps you look like you’d melt in the heat. Wear less make up.”

The screen caps were posted by Kevin Tran, a friend of the woman, who also happens to know the offensive Tinder user.
The post started getting more attention, and more women came out against Vedovi stating that they received the exact treatment from the guy.
That’s not the worst part, Next Shark did a little investigating and discovered that Vedovi has actually been charged with raping two minors in 2011.
Tinder responded by officially banning Vedovi from using the app for life.
In a statement posted by Rosette Pambakian, Tinder’s VP of Communication and Brand, she mentioned that Tinder has zero tolerance for disrespect.
“No racist rants. No sexist pigs. No trolling.”
She added his words were not only an offence to the Tinder user he offended but also to all of us.
“Not sure if you’ve heard, but more and more women are becoming successful entrepreneurs and business leaders. Clearly, you haven’t been paying attention. Women’s voices are only getting louder. So let me say this loud and clear: you and your kind are not welcome in our world. And we have the power to keep you out of it.”
I hope Nick Vedovi has learnt his lesson!
