When you send your vehicle for repair or detailing, you would expect that the store and their staff would take good care of your car or motorcycle, right?

Well, that’s apparently not always the case.

Netizen, Anaz. iDevice Repair, took to his Twitter page to showcase dashboard camera footage from a Mini Cooper as the staff of an auto body shop drives it recklessly before crashing.

Crash 1

He wrote, “Weh, that’s a JCW (John Cooper Works). That why la, don’t simply slam on the accelerator of other people’s car. I heard that’s a customer’s car.”

In the video, the car could be seen overtaking another vehicle that was moving towards the side of the road before accelerating and speeding down the road.

Just as they were approaching an intersection, a lorry suddenly turned, causing the auto body shop staff to avoid the lorry and crash onto the sidewalk into a lamp post.

Crash 3

Another video showed the aftermath of the crash, which caused significant damage to the vehicle.

Crash 4

Some have since pointed out that the owner of the vehicle had sent their car to the shop for detailing, which obviously doesn’t warrant a test drive.

Others also shared that, while the lorry was at fault for turning too soon as the Mini Cooper had the right of way, the accident could have been avoided if the staff had not sped during their joy ride.

You can check out the videos from the incident here

What would you do if that was your car? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
