Cheating in a relationship is basically ending it. I mean, when you lose the other person’s trust, there’s nowhere to go but downhill from there. Also, in this age of technology and development, it’s almost impossible to do so without being detected, but this businessman from China definitely beat the odds when you consider the sheer numbers of affairs he had.

Lai Xiaomin, 57, from China was detained for corruption was discovered to be having affairs with over 100 women! He bought his wives and lovers properties and housed them all in the same neighbourhood in Zhuhai City. You know what’s the best part? The wives and girlfriends lived in the area with their children without facing any problem.

We Malaysians are used to polygamy to an extent but even this is too much for us.

In a shocking turn of events, Lai was arrested in April and the authorities found more than 100 properties (what’s with this guy and the number 100?) and even had 270 million yuan (RM159mil) in cash, which weighed about three tonnes. This amount of wealth even enabled him to give the women in his life major positions in his company as managers and executives.

PSA: Never let money influence your decisions, whether it’s a bad job or becoming a man’s mistress. At the end of the day, first, think about whether that decision is worth it.
