Controversial Malaysian influencer DMA Islam recently shared another take that has landed him in hot water—this time for claiming that certain foods are not meant for everyone’s consumption.
According to him, only “gays” eat Laksa and sushi, as he believes these foods make the consumer appear weak and powerless.
What does an “Alpha” eat?
DMA argued that “Alphas” are meant to eat Ayam Gepuk. In a viral Threads post, he claimed that “the weak” lack the guts and ability to handle the dish’s signature spiciness.
Typically, Ayam Gepuk outlets allow customers to choose their spice level, ranging from medium to extra spicy; DMA suggests that those who cannot handle the heat are essentially opting out of “Alpha” status.
Additionally, DMA shared his thoughts on what an “Alpha” figure should drink. Avoiding tea, plain water, or fresh juices, he insisted on an Americano (which he originally misspelt as “Amecano”).
“Only immature kids drink Spanish Latte!” he asserted in his post.
This is not the first time DMA has used derogatory labels to categorise others. He previously claimed that men who perform household chores or change diapers are “gay and disrespected by their wives.”
DMA believes a “real man” should be out “conquering the world,” famously stating that “a King never sweeps the castle.”
He also recently reiterated that his responsibilities as a future husband would not include changing diapers, despite expressing a desire to have 13 children.

Social media users flooded the comment sections, expressing disgust at DMA’s judgmental and insensitive remarks.
One pointed out DMA’s spelling error for the coffee drink, while another said a Hollywood star doesn’t eat Ayam Gepuk.
“Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) doesn’t eat Ayam Gepuk.”
“You can’t even spell Americano right. What the hell is “Amecano?”
“You’re the most Alpha, and everyone else is the weakest, satisfied? If your dad eats laksa, I dare you to label him gay.”
“How do you know what a gay eats? This is something questionable.”
DMA, on the other hand, has not responded to any comment in his post.
