The King and Queen’s recent visit to Sabah has made headlines, especially when some people took the golden opportunity to “report” directly towards the rulers about the worsening road conditions in the state.

Many people in the state also tried their best to shake hands with the rulers, or at least take a good look at them. Out of so many people that Agong have met, the King had the chance to meet Spiderman, up close and personal! Of course, we’re not talking about Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield or Tom Holland. The Spiderman was one of the excited people dressed in the Marvel costume who shook hands with the King.

The clip of Agong’s brief conversation with the Marvel superhero went viral on social media, and it started with the crowds chasing Agong’s car, including Spidey himself.

Upon realising that, Agong slowed down and it didn’t take long for Spiderman to get the King’s attention. He even gave Agong a pack of food.

We guess he’s really our friendly neighbourhood Spiderman.

Out of curiosity, Agong tried to find out the alter ego of Spiderman by asking his name. When Spiderman told Agong his name, the King jokingly asked,

“Oh, not Spiderman?”

The crowds laughed at the King’s response.

Agong is currently in Sabah for the Kembara Kenali Borneo event and he is scheduled to visit Sarawak on September 13.

You can watch the viral clip below.

You wouldn’t want to miss the boat to see the King, but seeing your friendly neighbourhood Spiderman isn’t something you get to experience everyday too! What a day, Sabahans!
