Assistant Director of Fire and Rescue Operations Division, Kedah Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), Senior Superintendent of Fire I Mohamadul Ehsan Mohd Zain said they received a call regarding the incident at 3.40 pm. A team from Alor Setar Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) led by Senior Fire Officer (PBK) II Ahmad Nozlan Zakaria arrived at the location at 3.54 pm.

Fortunately, as mentioned earlier, they managed to convince her not to jump and she was then taken to safety. Kudos to the Fire and Rescue Department for their swift action that led to a life being saved that day!
