A hardcore Harimau Malaya fan, Derrick recently revealed that he sold his motorcycle to fund himself to Qatar to watch the football match.

A Malaysian content creator got his eyes on the news, and in his Facebook post this morning (January 26), he revealed his intention to give Derrick a brand new Honda RS150 motorcycle. All he needs to see is 10,000 likes on that post. No funds, no cash, just a click of like on his post.

It looks like Derrick will be receiving a brand-new ride very, very soon.

The post by the content creator, Ahmad Alhafiz Najmi spread like wildfire, and in less than 4 hours, the post has garnered a massive 29,000 likes (at the time of writing). In his latest FB post, Ahmad said he has reached his KPI for the motorcycle to be given out, and he’s doing whatever he can to “rush” the giveaway process.

“I’m still in Borneo, and I’ll be back on Sunday. I have work on Monday but I’ll handle this giveaway first thing on Tuesday (January 30).”

Ahmad also said that he has no issues if Derrick is going to re-sell the brand-new Honda RS150 motorcycle.

“It’s his property and his right. I don’t want to interfere.”

Derrick’s “sacrifice” for his love of football was unexpectedly repaid with a new ride. Ahmad also stated that praises alone are not enough to “reward” Derrick’s love for Harimau Malaya, and believed that the keen fan of the football team should be rewarded with something else, as a token of appreciation.

And who knew, not long after bidding farewell to his old motorcycle, a new one was about to greet Derrick.

In a quick recap, Harimau Malaya scored an equal score of 3-3 against South Korea in the match last night.

Congratulations, Derrick and to all the loyal fans who have never lost faith in our team, let the love spread and continue! Long live Harimau Malaya!
