It is true when people say love does not know age.

Recently, a story about a woman who fell in love with a guy who is 45 years younger than her has been circulating online.

Despite being separated by long-distance, that did not stop Iris Jones, 81, from falling in love with her lover Ibriham, 36.

According to a Daily Star report, Iris said she never intended to fall in love with someone half her age, but she said we can’t help who we fall in love with.

Due to COVID 19, the couple has been separated for a while because Iris lives in the United Kingdom while her lover is in Egypt.

Iris said that the long-distance has made her feel lonely and depressed because she had to stay away from Ibriham, but she had to accept that fact. She added that they still communicated online every day.

Despite that, Iris said she has gone to Egypt three times to visit him but has returned without her lover. She said the country doesn’t suit her since she said it was too dusty and too hot plus the cost of going there would be expensive, and it would bring a potential risk for her health.

Iris admits that her unique relationship with Ibriham came as a shock to her sons at first. Stephen, 54, and Darren, 53 said they were both concerned for their mother and the relationship’s large age gap. They were more shocked when she said the relationship made her “feel like a virgin again”. But her sons have come around to accepting it since they have been together for months now.

What do you guys think of this?
