This is really horrifying!

According to The Sun Daily, a caretaker’s spouse from a private orphanage got arrested for allegedly raping and also molesting four young girls at the shelter home. This incident reportedly happened in Danau Kota, Setapak.

The aunt of a 12-year-old female inmate of the home that houses about 20 children of both genders aged between 1 to 16 had visited the girl last week and she completely shocked after listening to what the victim had to say as she was allegedly sexually abused by the caretaker who is in his 20s.

Moreover, the girl said that she is not the only one who was sexually abused by the suspect as three other girls in the shelter – aged 13, 14 and 16 – were also repeatedly raped and molested by the caretaker in the past year.

FYI, the suspect is the spouse of the shelter owner. However, he was not present at the orphanage when the victim exposed his misconduct to her aunt.

After learning about the victim’s condition, her aunt took her home before lodging a police report on Thursday ( 7th February). The girl was reportedly placed in the shelter home ever since she was 9 years old.

Later, a medical examination was conducted and results confirmed that the girl was indeed raped. It is also learnt the owner of the orphanage runs several other shelters at various locations in the Klang Valley.

Poor victims at the shelter! We hope the young girls will get help to overcome the trauma and hope the police will ensure justice is served.
