The 51-year-old man said that Wong was very hardworking and had a bright future ahead of him before he received the shocking news of his terminal disease as he was well-liked by his colleagues. After graduating from college less than five years ago, he was made the head of his department at his workplace.

Due to his long working hours, he would frequently eat at irregular times and get takeaways or fast food. His father also said that Wong would sleep late at night as he would go out with his friends and colleagues where they would eat supper as well.

About six months ago, Wong experienced health problems such as indigestion, stomachaches and bloating but he ignored all of these issues. He thought that it was the usual stomach discomfort issues and took some medicine to calm his stomach.

However, he continued to be plagued by stomach issues for a long time so he decided to go to the hospital for a checkup. To his horror, the doctor diagnosed him with advanced stomach cancer and said that his prognosis was not very optimistic.

Lu Jianwei, director of the Department of Oncology, Jiangsu Cancer Hospital said that patients with stomach cancer were getting younger. In the last five months, they even had one who was as young as 25 years old. Lu says that to reduce their risk, people should take note of their dietary habits, sleep early, find ways to release stress and not ignore their abdominal pains.

Your health is wealth, guys. Don’t neglect it!
