Buying a house is every young man and woman’s dream, and recently, a Malaysian YouTuber, Bryson Lew managed to buy his first house for RM1.6 million. He is only 19 years old.
In a heartwarming and inspiring YouTube video that was recently uploaded, Bryson revealed that buying his own property has always been the 2nd thing to do on his wishlist. The first is to drive his parents around after he obtained his driver’s license.
“We can only make plans but we can rarely keep up with the changes,” Bryson said.
“Am I doing the right thing?”
In his video, Bryson spent a little time contemplating if he did the right thing by purchasing a house at an early age.
“I have 30 years of loan to pay and thousands of ringgit have to be spent for the renovation. I don’t know if I can keep up. I’m actually feeling more stressed than happy.”
However, his family’s continued support and presence convinced Bryson that he can make it. Not many can afford to buy a house before they hit their 20s, and in case you’re wondering why is Bryson buying a property at such an early age, he explained in detail in his video.
“Keeping my family company is perhaps the most meaningful thing for now”
As a YouTuber who has a lot of shooting equipment, Bryson admitted that his previous house did not have enough space for the family to place their items, not to mention how messy the hall looked.
“The living hall didn’t look like a living hall. It looked like a huge storeroom,” Bryson’s mother laughed.
Other than that, Bryson also said that his parents are turning 60 in just a few years, and his grandmother is turning 90 soon.
“Keeping my family company and repaying my parents are the most meaningful things that I can do for now,” Bryson said.
Bryson then spent the remaining time in his video going on a tour of his new house while planning with his family the layout of their new home. You can watch the full video below.
Congratulations Bryson for such an achievement at a young age. Hopefully, his video will inspire more youth out there to achieve their dreams and make their parents proud.
