You’re probably wondering if there’s anyone who could break the previous Nasi Kandar record. In a Facebook post by Nasi Kandar Sulaiman, another brave man / Nasi Kandar enthusiast broke another record at the place for the highest price of Nasi Kandar. The RM256 Nasi Kandar was recorded at Nasi Kandar Pelita in Penang. The higher the price means the more dishes on a plate. How many dishes can a customer take, so much so that Malaysians are seeing a continuous hike in terms of the highest price?

In terms of variety, this man may not have too much on his plate but it’s all about the quantity – a whopping 16 squids and 10 prawns! Here’s what else he had on his plate.

  • 2 fried chickens
  • squid eggs
  • lady’s finger
  • lamb

The man took his sweet time – 55 minutes to finish his meal. Well, a good meal is meant to be savored slowly. After all, he had A LOT of squids and prawns to finish. It was definitely an appetising day for the happy customer.

“We didn’t force anything, and we didn’t ask him to come. He came here all by himself and broke another record,” the management of Nasi Kandar Sulaiman said in a post.
