Many Malaysians have expressed what they want to see following Najib’s imprisonment – “Zahid Hamidi, you’re next.”

As expected, it did not take long for the “wish” to reach the attention of Zahid’s daughter, Nurulhidayah, and recently, she expressed her thoughts about it via an Instagram reel.

In a calm manner, Nurul said that he knew it is an attempt to irritate her when some people commented on her social media with the catchphrase “Zahid, you’re next.” However, Nurul wants the people to know that the attempt to irritate her is not working. At least not for now.

“We’ll fight for him”

Nurul then revealed that if fate has her father imprisoned in the future, the family will face it calmly. But that’s not it.

“We will continue to work hard and fight to prove his innocence.”

Nurul added that for better or worse, everything is an arrangement from the Almighty.

“We can still see him. He’s just going to jail, not into the afterlife.”

Despite the multiple attempts to irritate Nurul with the comments, she admitted that she is actually at peace now as she understands that everything is a test from God. She added that she will also pray for the success of her father’s defense lawyers, and she believes that the team will do their very best in the case.

“I will continue and learn to be a good mother, daughter, and wife, which is the best give she can give to the family.”

At the end of her post, Nurul Hidayah said that many people are bound to make mistakes but not many have the tendency to change, but her family will.

What do you think of Nurul’s take on this? Do you think Zahid will face the same consequences as Najib?
