It’s dangerous to go anywhere alone as a woman nowadays. Gotta learn a few self-defense moves to keep ourselves safe!

Woman Shares How 'Drunk' Man Attempted To Break Into Her Car In a Shopping Mall Basement Car Park - WORLD OF BUZZ

A netizen recently shared her alarming experience on how she was almost robbed in a shopping mall car park on April 5, thus urging other female drivers to be aware of their surroundings at all times.

In the video she uploaded on Facebook, she was driving alone towards the lower ground basement of a shopping mall in Kepong as she had to deliver some parcels at the Pos Laju office. After parking her car, she noticed a man suspiciously leaning against a pillar near her vehicle.

The man appeared to be drunk, resting his head on his arm against the pillar looking tipsy. Afraid for her safety, she remained in her car and took no care of him, hoping he would somehow leave. However, he stayed at the same spot for a good two to three minutes.

Suddenly, the man charged towards the netizen’s car, and tried to open her car door while glaring at her fiercely. So scary! Thankfully, her car door was securely locked. He refused to budge despite failing to break open the car, and continued trying to open the car door.

Feeling that something was amiss, the netizen immediately drove off and made a few rounds in the car park out of fear. When she got back to her senses, she drove back to her initial parking spot to snap a photo of the man, but he had already left the scene.

She suspects that the man preys on single female drivers, and warns the public to be alert at all times. She also advises all drivers to lock their car doors once they get into their cars, and to never get down from the car during situations like this.

Her post garnered the attention of local netizens in less than 24 hours, with 121,000 views and 4,600 shares on Facebook. Some netizens shared their similar experience and taught her a tip, which is to honk loudly to attract the attention of other passerby. Take note girls!
