In these uncertain times, it’s rare to see people being kind and selfless. However, once in a while, there’s someone like Ustaz Ebit Lew who helps people purely from the kindness of his heart and you know somehow there’s hope left for humanity.

The Tembok Cluster is of the most dangerous clusters reporting 1,200 cases so far. The cluster originated from a prison in Kedah and the infected prisoners are isolated from the community. Despite the cases being isolated, the prisoners are suffering and to help them, Ustaz Ebit Lew decided to donate mattresses, pillows, towels and bedsheets for the 200 inmates.

“Yesterday, I was heartbroken after receiving a letter from Prison HQ and Pokok Sena Prison and I decided to help the quarantined prisoners. I immediately bought supplies and arranged for a lorry to bring it there.”

The Ustaz even said that “We are family” and should all be looking out for each other during these difficult times. He got the prisoners 200 mattresses, 200 pillows, 2000 face shields, 10 fans, towels and bedsheets. Not only that, he even got them food supplies and some other basic supplies.

It’s truly inspiring to see Ustaz Ebit Lew being so selfless especially at a time when people have taken to only caring about themselves. Let him serve as an inspiration to all of us to help everyone no matter status or creed!
