Wow, this is a really dramatic scenario! According to Zaobao, a Singaporean couple’s wedding almost looked like a scene from the movies.
They recently interviewed a female private investigator (PI) surnamed Zhuo, who described one of the most epic cases that she has ever handled to date. She was hired by this rich businessman in Singapore who wanted to check up on his then-fiancée before their wedding.

So, he decided to task Zhuo with the investigation and she followed his fiancée around for one and a half months. At first, she lived her life normally and did not have any suspicious activities so Zhuo reported that everything was normal. However, the following week, she showed her true colours and actually cheated on her husband-to-be.
Apparently, she had dated another guy and they planned to meet up in a hotel; and Zhuo managed to capture the evidence. She said, “They went up to the room together but one of them left first before the other. However, they both came out from the same room.” No prizes for guessing what they did in there!

She passed the video footage to the wealthy businessman, thinking that he would cancel the wedding since they had already booked their wedding venue. That’s where you’re wrong tho! Zhuo said she was surprised when she received a call from the businessman inviting her to the wedding. Thinking nothing of it, she attended it anyway.
She recounts the occasion, “At the wedding dinner when they began playing the flashback videos of the bride and groom’s love story, there was a nasty surprise waiting for the cheating bride. Halfway through the sweet video, suddenly the groom played the footage of the bride cheating on him in front of everyone present. The bride was so embarrassed and humiliated when she saw the video that she ran off.”

Needless to say, their whole marriage was called off. Wonder what the guests thought of the whole fiasco! Zhuo explained that cheating cases make up about 70 per cent of the usual clients they get, but this was probably one of the most memorable cases she had worked on. She said that they would make sure to get evidence of the spouse cheating and would then send it to the client for them to decide on the next course of action.
In this day and age, it seems like it’s getting harder and harder to find true love, if there’s even any 🙁
