As pandemic restriction eases, many theme parks have started gaining traction again and just recently, a Malaysian shared his hilarious encounter while riding a roller coaster.
According to a video posted on Douyin, a Malaysian man named Owen and his friend decided to visit a theme park located in Selangor. There, they decided to get onto a roller coaster ride, and before riding it, he had no choice but to bring the bag with him as he was afraid that someone will steal it if he left it out.
As the ride commences, it could be seen that he was enjoying the ride with his friend. However, about 20 seconds into the ride and as the roller coaster started to plumage down the track, his bag flew off from his neck and when he noticed it, he was in shock.
He repeatedly told his friend in mandarin,
“My bag flew away; I’ve got no mood to play now.”
His friend then asked him where he placed his phone and he replied that his phone was also in his bag. He then told his friend again that the incident has completely killed his mood to enjoy the remainder of the ride.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Owen mentioned that after the ride, he spoke to the workers, and they managed to retrieve his bag near the roller coaster track. When asked if anything broke, he said that everything was still in good condition and he was “grateful that nothing was stolen or broken.”
Following this, the video was then shared on social media by a netizen and the video has since gained over 6,000 shares on Facebook with comments on how this was a hilarious encounter.
This is a gentle reminder to always take care of your belongings and make sure that your bags are safe enough to ride the roller coaster with you.
Thank you for sharing this hilarious story with us Owen, we hope this doesn’t happen to you again in the future!
