To ensure health care access is given to all, this group of 4×4 drivers shared what life is like as they took their mobile clinic to Sonsogon, Kota Marudu, Sabah.
In their TikTok video, this group braved unpaved roads and the wild to ensure they arrived on time.
To give an overview of where Sonsogon is, it is located in the Kota Marudu region, about 60 km away from the closest town of Bandau. Local transport would take 4 hours excluding distances travelled on foot.
In the video, the 4x4s are made to go through routes previously used by logging trucks and machinery.
Despite the travelling that they had to do, they did make it to their intended destination.
In a corresponding video, the netizen wrote.
“Our moving clinic travelled 3 days, 2 nights, into Kg Sonsogon during the rainy season.”
“We reached Songsogon Magandai on day 2. We managed to carry out all our duties and even made do when there was no electricity in the village,” they shared.
They even managed to squeeze in a little rest and visited the village.
Great job, everybody!
