A video which featured a mob of delivery riders toppling a Myvi in Taman Kota Masai, Pasir Gudang, Johor, Thursday night 3rd November 2022, made its way onto social media.

According to an eyewitness, the incident began when a Myvi ran a red traffic light colliding with a motorcycle that went through the same junction.

The mob began when the driver began provoking the public while safely tucked away in a patrol vehicle.

However, in a follow up, a dashcam footage proved that the Myvi was not at fault, as it was driven through a green light that was about to turn yellow, which in turn makes the delivery rider as the one to blame.

According to Kosmo, the police have detained three suspects aged between 17 to 24-years-old.

All three suspects will be investigated under Section 148, Section 427 and Section 43(1) of the 1987 Road Act.

The police are still investigating the cause of the commotion up to the point where they resorted to turning the vehicle over.

We sincerely hope that the police get to the bottom of this, and ask the public to not resort to their inner demons and adhere to the law when it comes to situations like this.
