This hot weather that is felt by many people in different countries around the world is definitely an effect of global warming. Animals do feel the same heat and for some of them with long and dense fur, it might be even worse.

Recently, a French bulldog in Fuyang, Anhui, China, has gone viral after his owner uploaded a CCTV footage of him on Douyin.

Doggo Who Went Back Home

This is how it went down, on 14 June, Mr Huang brought his pet dog out for a walk at around 10am.

Halfway through, Mr Huang realised that his dog had disappeared, so he went around and looked for his little pet but to no avail.

He went home and wanted to get his family members’ help to search for his pet but when the elevator door opened, he saw his black and white French bulldog in front of his house!

Mr Huang was definitely puzzled so he went to the management office and asked to look at the CCTV footage.

It seems that his dog could not stand the heat outside and ran back to the apartment building on its own. As it couldn’t call for the elevator, the smart doggo took the stairs up to the 4th floor when a neighbour spotted it.

The kind neighbour then ushered the small dog into the elevator and sent it to the 6th floor where its house is!

It is said that the doggo has a black-and-white face that is recognizable, so people in the community know where it lives.

This is certainly a very smart doggo! During warm weather spells like this, there is an increased chance of heat stroke for humans and animals. Be sure to read up on how to effectively cool your pets during this season.
