We all know that the weather is out of control now as it’s raining every day.
Yesterday (15th December 2019), IKEA posted on their Facebook that their Cheras branch carpark was flooded because of the “severe rain”.
They apologised for the inconvenience caused and advised their customers who wanted to spend their Sunday at Cheras IKEA to either take the MRT or park at MyTown shopping complex.

“Hej: We want to let our friend in the Klang Valley area know that severe rains caused flooding in our IKEA Cheras carparks on the afternoon of December 15th. Unfortunately, our drainage systems are impacted by construction beyond our own property.”
“We are really sorry for any inconvenience experienced by people visiting. If you are coming to the store tonight, please travel by MRT or look for parking at MyTOWN shopping centre to avoid any hassle.”
“Our team is working to pump the water out and clear up this situation as quickly as we can. All other IKEA stores continue to operate as normal.”
