Without a standard speed limit in urban and residential areas, many have resorted to drive at high speeds in these areas.

Many motorcyclists and pedestrians have been injured and killed due to the reckless driving of some who speed at urban and residential areas as well as villages, such as this case which took place in Johor.

Here is a footage of the incident.

Shared on Facebook Page DashCam Owners Malaysia, the silver Axia seen in the video slammed into a stationary Ativa parked in front of the owner’s home causing it to topple and spread debris around the location.

The incident, which garnered 3.1k likes, 1.4k comments and 802 shares, saw netizens sharing their anger with the driver.

Commenting on the post, one netizen pointed out the mistakes this driver made in the collision.

“Firstly, the driver was caught speeding in a housing area. The driver also drove against traffic.”

“It is clear that the Axia is not at fault. The victim should ask for maximum claims if this goes to court.”

Let’s hope that the police gets to the bottom of this, and penalize those involved with heavy fines.
